The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (CMSC) Board of Governors is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathleen Costello, CRNP, MSCN, as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of the CMSC, effective January 15, 2025.
With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Kathleen Costello has been an instrumental leader in advancing MS care, education, and advocacy. A certified nurse practitioner and MS-certified nurse, Kathleen has consistently demonstrated her dedication to improving the lives of individuals with MS through her role in clinical care, innovative program development, and extensive contributions to professional education.
Kathleen’s deep understanding of the CMSC’s mission and her longstanding commitment to multidisciplinary MS care make her uniquely suited to guide the organization during this time. In her current role as COO of Can Do Multiple Sclerosis, and as a former member of the CMSC Board of Governors, and a past President of the International Organization of MS Nurses, she brings exceptional leadership and insight to her new role.
The CMSC remains steadfast in its mission to enhance the quality of MS care through collaboration, education, and research. Under Kathleen’s leadership, we will continue to support healthcare professionals in addressing the complex challenges of MS care.
